Dave McPike

President of McPike Company & Associates, Inc.

 

Background: 

Dave began his career in specialty steel at the Allegheny Ludlum Steel bar division 1976 for the production of stainless and tool steel bars.  After a short while the employees purchased the bar division and became AL Tech Specialty Steel headquarted in Dunkirk, NY, where he lived.  After gaining a background in the production and marketing of specialty steels he became the youngest person to go into the sales field.  In 1984 he and his family moved to Miamisburg, OH in SW Ohio and worked strictly in distribution for Peninsular Steel and Timken Latrobe Steel Distribution.  In 2001 he returned to the manufacturing and distributing company of Crucible Materials Corporation selling PM tool steel, conventional tool steel and also alloy bar for the Service Centers division and PM tool steel HIPclad commercial products for the Crucible Compaction division.  In 2009 he formed the McPike Co. & Associates, Inc. as an independent representative.

Donna Wood

Sales Support Manager

 

Donna Wood joined McPike Co. in January of 2011.  Donna worked for 10 years as the office manager and inside sales manager for Crucible Service Centers in Cincinnati and Dayton, OH where she gained a great knowledge of the distribution and service industry for tool steel products and related services.  Prior to that she served many years as the purchasing manager over all products at IKS in Erlanger, KY, a global manufacturer of industrial knives.   Along with her excellent organizational skills, Donna has the desire to serve our partners and our customers.  As a previous buyer she also knows what it is like to be on that end of the phone.
